How To Make a Bocce Court.

This is the first in a weekly installment about my parents return to CT.

Yes the snow birds have reversed their commute and have bought a house in CT. (CT is a cold place to come to spend your twilight time)I am glad my parents moved back it is good for my boys to have a link to the older generations of the family. But yesterday it happened "so how do you like the house".

I began to sweat and then opened my mouth. "It does not matter what I think as long as you're happy I am happy". My five year old looked at me as I said this line. You could tell what he was thinking " that won't work I could of done way better then that". I wanted to let him know that I'm out of practice but realized that would only make matters worse.

My dad said "that is a cop-out come on give me an answer all ready".. My mother came to my defense "know that is a great answer as long as we are happy he is happy". The food then arrived and I helped my son with his pizza. The time had passed and I did not have to answer the question and you know what I won't answer it now either. What I do know for sure is they had fun watching me coach the u5 soccer team and they paid for lunch.
